Traditional therapy across the country happens in the gym. Imagine doing therapy for a hip fracture or stroke that results in feeding our local seniors in need or clothing homeless children in our community. This is exactly what happens with Arroyo Grande Care Center’s new Service-Based Therapy Program.
Patients will regain their strength while working with physical and occupational therapists at “The Farm” growing produce for their free farmers market for those in need. Participants will be doing functional therapy that helps heal themselves and heal our community while giving them meaning and purpose in their daily lives.
